We listen, act, and transform
Welcome! I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing barriers to living the life they want to live. The majority of my work has been with helping preteens and teens navigate that fun (and super awkward) transition between childhood and adulthood, and I specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, and self-harming behaviors. I tailor my approach to your specific needs (and comfort level), but most often draw from EMDR, ACT, DBT, and TF-CBT.
You can expect our first couple sessions together to be spent getting to know each other and creating goals. As a trauma-informed therapist, I know how crucial it is to build trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship. As a bonus, this also allows me to begin understanding your strengths and values, and how they can help us work toward building hope.
I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about how we can work together! If you feel like we might be a good fit, please reach out via email, text, or phone call, whichever way you feel more comfortable. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, and am happy to answer any other questions you might have.
